About Me
Hi there! My name is Ashley Bublitz, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I am a Midwestern transplant and moved to Washington state after obtaining my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2019. After working in the mental health field for approximately nine years in a variety of settings, I have learned that the most important part of working with anybody is flexibility, compassion, and the ability to meet people where they are at. As such, my role as a clinician is to allow you to explore difficult areas of your life at your own pace. I believe that you are the expert in your own life and that the therapeutic process should be a collaborative one. It is important to me that you feel comfortable, connected, and engaged throughout our work together because therapy is often a difficult, yet rewarding, process.
Areas of Focus: depression, anxiety, psychosis, bipolar disorder, PTSD, trauma, grief, relationship issues (high conflict, codependency, etc.), family of origin issues, emotional abuse, boundary setting, low self-esteem, self-doubt, and emotional avoidance.
Treatments Used: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Adlerian, Solution Focused, Dialectal Behavior Therapy skills, Attachment theory, art, and with a trauma informed and person-centered approach
